Women's Reversible 1940 French Work Skirt In Biella Super 120 Tasmanian Wool

One of only 3 pieces worldwide, made exclusively for Blue Mountain School.

Designed based upon a modified 1940s French work skirt pattern, from extensive tailoring research, the skirt is cut from Super 120s pure extrafine Tasmanian wool suiting cloth, woven in Biella, Italy. 

The skirt is lined with a ‘cervo’ deer patterned jacquard weave viscosa cloth, by Ezio Ghiringhelli in Varese, and can be worn inside out.

The design features an elasticated waistband for maximum comfort, and was individually hand-washed and treated in Cavarzere in order to achieve maximum softness and drape.
